  • bought a shirt, i'm absolutely chuffed with it. great cause, cheers @ltc!

for anyone sad that CMAR was postponed for another year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qn3VZCOMATY&ab_channel=react.with.protest%21

i saw aurole of ash when they were touring with fluoride a couple of years ago, it was AMAZING.

  • Nice! Thanks for picking a shirt up! I missed the online CMAR because my selfish bastard brother had to his birthday on the same day. Aureole of Ash are so good, they do just make me miss Resurrectionists though. Lars was talking about doing a proper final CMAR next year I think!

  • Also, been sorting through a box of old tapes/records and found some gems I forgot I had. Would highly recommend this to anyone into Drunk In Hell/ Brainbombs etc.

  • Cady are playing this in April if anyone wants to come chug a beer about it. We won't have played a show in about 3 years so looking forward to it/ shitting it.

  • Excuse me for self promoting, but thought some might appreciate.
Got about 50 tees (metal, hardcore, punk, electro) for sale on my Depop.
Almost all in black and in M (some S/L).
    Discount can be arranged.
    Thanks!

  • Some bands I haven't thought about for a while in there! I imagine we've been at a lot of the same gigs. Did you see Amygdala when they were over?

  • Yes! I can't remember where and who did they play with. Do you?

    Possibly Unicorn?

  • Yeah it was at The Unicorn! My band Cady did that tour with them so it was us and I want to say some band with the word Cult in the name? My memory is shocking, ha ha.
Is stuff still happening at The Unicorn? I've not been in years.

  • This is pretty good if you like stuff that sounds exactly like every screamo / emoviolence band of the last 20 years.

  • This is great if you can get in to the lo-fi as fuck production. Bludgeoning emoviolence.

  • Anyone here into power violence? I was into it a few years ago and just started listening to it again lately... just get over how mental it is. Check out ACXDC, Sex Prisoner and Weekend Nachos.

  • I used to live in Leeds which has a great PV/grind/fastcore scene.

Check out Lugubrious Children and Famine
    If you haven't already!

I played drums in a powerviolence band called Yuri which was good fun. We booked a whole euro tour without thinking to tell any of the promoters that we only played for 6 minutes, some of them weren't too impressed, ha ha.

  • Thanks for the recommendations... I’ll check em out

  • This is my kind of thing. I was in a very short lived project that had a recording like this (but worse!)

  • Any Respire fans on here?

  • Anybody off to see Portrayal of Guilt at the Black Heart on Tuesday?

  • I can't make Portrayal of Guilt tonight after all, anyone after a ticket? I paid just under £14, would take £8 for it!

Edit: fuck it, free to a good home, I'd rather it got used!
    Edit: gone

  • Liking this a lot:

Working my way through the rest of this channel's uploads because i'm out of the loop with respect to all things hc even at the best of times.=:

  • Warthog are fun. Definitely one of the best of the cool guy hardcore lot!

  • Anyone got some recommendations... got a bit stale lately and need something to light that hardcore fire under my arse again.

  • What sort of thing are you in to? Not a direct reply to that question but just stumbled across this off the back of Ostraca playing a few shows with them and enjoying it quite a bit. Almost has that Kidcrash-esque mathiness to it.

  • Just played with Respire a couple of times. Really enjoyed them! They were fucking lovely as well. Would recommend checking them out if you're in to that Suis La Lune style post rock influenced screamo/emo style.

  • As stated. Depends on what you like. I liked Gulch - thought they brought something new when they “came out”

Also I definitely recommend Hate5six youtube channel. Helps find new stuff and good quality live audio/ video

    Good luck!

    Gods hate (not a recommendation)….
