The Grind in Greenwich is quite nice, particularly towards the back area. Had a decent enough Full English when I last went...

Wonderful meal at Pidgin. Could have eaten a whole tub of the ice cream

Any suggestions for a really good tasting menu? It's my brother's 30th coming up and he's really in to his food. Preferably something with good meat courses because he likes to do his best to cancel out my veganism.

I’d recommend The Clove Club.

Solip has been my fave tasting menu of late.

Some of the more establish places like Clove Club etc may feel more special?

Anyone got any recommendations for dinner and drinks around London Bridge?

Group of mates, so somewhere fairly relaxed that will be OK with a couple of people turning up late.

Somewhere reasonably but not massively fancy, not too formal. Maybe a bit of a tasting menu or something.

there is NOTHING in blackheath and greenwich, both are hellholes, its a shame really, not even a decent pub

for some reason its full of commuter town type chains

deptford has few things, one of the best dimsums on high st, at par/if not better than Royal china
