Can I suggest to my neighbour downstairs who I share a '2 bike' Asgard shed with that we keep an Allen key in there and we straighten our bars out when putting them in?
Bit of a faff but less of a faff then getting the bikes out at the moment or getting them out of the front door.
Doesn't really work at the moment and don't want a pedal from their bike forced into my wheel. Also has anyone mounted the PX hooks at an angle? Screw it some wood cut at a 45 angle to the wall then mount the hook to that?

I think you would be better off top and tailing, turning the bars, the basket is pretty much as wide!

Anything like the horizontal Asgard 2 bike storage but cheaper? Just want to keep the kids/cheap bikes and general garden stuff in there to get rid of the big shed. Seem to be a few online but generally crap reviews.

Pretty happy with these pedal hangers from Amazon
Rest of the shed needs work ...

reassuringly low tech solution!

have you got a link to those pedal hangers you can share? there seem to be a million different ones on there.
If regular and easy access wasn't a priority and you just wanted bikes off the floor, how tight do you reckon you could stack them vertically? four bikes in a column?

I reckon you could squeeze a fair few together, only issue is bars touching the wheel above.
I'd say where the driveside pedal hangs down (picture above) you could put the next bracket fairly close to that, you just need clearance to lift the next pedal in

That's brilliant, cheers.

More storage qs.
I have a burley bike trailer. I have a perfect bit of bike-trailer sized wall. The underside of the bike trailer is without any useful bars to hook, how would the forum hang this thing? I'm hoping for something more tidy than bungee cords hanging down and holding an internal rail.

Could you not leave the arm attached and use that? Burley have a nice a nd simple pin connection if I remember coreectly, so you should be able to hook it?

That’s what I did with my old fake one. Got a £5 hitch from eBay and bolted it to the wall. I also stuck a bit of yoga mat to the wall behind the trailer to stop the qr wheel stubs getting scratched/ground down. Btbh I left the wheels on most of the time.

Is there any good reason not to hang a bike on a wall above a radiator?
Need to hang two of my bikes in my new flat and the only suitable wall has a radiator at the bottom. -
• #1620
Assuming you don't have the radiator at materials-melting temperatures, and the tyres aren't actually resting on the surface of it etc., I'd say it's absolutely fine

That, but I’d fit a shelf above the rad as any dust that is drawn up by the heat will get baked on. If you’ve ever hung a picture above a rad you’ll know what I mean.

Plus eazy-dry after a wet ride.

Has anyone put an outside bike rack inside an asgard or other shed?
I have a 3 bike 'addition' shed, and I'd like something to keep bikes upright inside - so that we could maybe fit 3 bikes in (2 drop bar, 1 flat bar). Thinking something like this https://bisonproducts.co.uk/3-bike-toast-rack/

Probably a bit late to reply, but I have a sheet of OSB screwed to the base of my Asgard shed and then screwed two long wooden guides so that I just line the wheel up and slide the bike in.
I keep two bikes in mine and they're top and tailed, but I have to remove one bike first to get at the second. About a minutes' inconvenience.
Not wrong about the price increase - the Annexe 3 bike has gone up £300 since I got mine a couple of years ago.
