  • Damn, beat me to it.

  • Congratulations to Arsenal for beating Liverpool 4-3 on yellow cards.

  • Partey's second yellow should have been a straight red.

  • never really seen hendo knackered but he was struggling after 30 mins tonight
pace was frenetic at the start, so many players looking a bit out of puff midway through the half

and that trent to jota goal a thing of beauty ( the second one, they were both trent to jota )

  • Henderson didn't get into the game which was very unlike him but thought Jones was great, ran the games for bits and great to see Jota really step up and be the main man.

  • Sorry for the Daily Hail link (I hate myself already), but this article by Martin Samuel is probably the best summary of our situation on a national level so far and is a good read if you want to understand some of the many crazy things that have happened, that could see the end of DCFC in less than 2 weeks...

The EFL have shown so much ineptitude over the past few years (probably more) and not just with this case. They aren't fit for purpose and their rulings and interpretations of their own rules have seen (and will see more) clubs going under.

  • I found this a couple of days ago and I'm invested.

  • Saw that pop up earlier. Gold!

  • Fair play to Norwich for that performance last night. If results go their way today they might just have a slim hope of staying up. Sergeant’s first goal was sublime!

Watford are fucked. I can’t see Claudio lasting too much longer. I also can’t believe that they turned us over 3-2 at the start of the season.

  • It’s the hope that kills you…

We’ve never actually been that far adrift and had bizarrely won more games than those above us (admittedly other teams have got plenty of games in hand) but picking up points makes a huge difference to morale.

Could do with chipping away at the goal difference as it’s horrific, but you can see huge differences in the players’ movement and decision making after going a goal ahead rather than behind.

The Premier League’s a ruthless environment…hoping we can kick on from this, it’s Palace (h) up next in the league and a genuine chance of chalking up three wins in a row with players coming back from injury too, and others playing themselves into form.

  • Stay classy Everton fans.

  • Looks like we're keeping the Brian Clough trophy forever.

  • Shame we could’ve melted it down and recast it into the shape of a middle finger to stick right up Steve Gibsons arse.

  • Mel Morris would be straight down to Cash Converters to pawn it.

  • We should make it double ended so Morris and Gibson can get in a room together and have a good time.

  • Congrats to Burnley, for a team dedicated to heading, time wasting (with a certain comedic timing) and the kind of ambition that breeds relegation. Well done!

  • You couldn't beat a team at the bottom of the table.

    That’s not Burnley’s fault… that’s Arsenal’s.

  • Some laughable refereeing at selhurst park today

  • Yeah, lacazette hits the open goal, one or two utter last ditch tackles don't reach, a couple of headers are a yard to one side, some Burnley thug gets a red card and it's at least a 1-0...

But can't argue with the score here.

And Burnley getting relegated will be Burnley's fault.
