Is that why people blur our their faces in clothing for-sale ads on here?
-
• #53
yes I sold a brevet gilet on here once and stupidly didn't blur my face in the listing. some insolent user cloned me and now there's a user cozey II roaming round the streets of catford drinking "flat whites" and eating "gordal olives"

Exactly couldn’t have put it better myself

I hear what your saying but perhaps when your car gets cloned you may change your mind
This would be the car that I'm selling?
-

this car failed twice last year. On tenterhooks to see if it will pass again in next couple of days or be sold before then.

LFGSS:
You ride a bike that cost £15k and was built by some ‘artisan’ in his shed and people treat you like some kind of demigod.
You drive a car that’s worth £18.5k and people think you’re some kind of upper class cyclist killing wanker and start hurling abuse at you because you made the mistake of attempting to sell it.
Good to see nothing has changed for 2022.

I think the mistake was attempting to sell it on here and elsewhere at the same time, you should know that.

no, your a demigod

Although the swearing/aggression might be a bit inappropriate

I don't really care if this is listed both on here and autotrader, but not mentioning that there's only 3 days left on it's MOT is lame.

I think the tide is turning and all car adverts will get piled on from now on.

all car drivers should be piled on imo

Unless it's well looked after a practical automatic smaller engined smaller sized estate or large hatchback for under £6k dull if fine as long as its not red or white. I'm looking at the moment.

Trade in for a Tern GSD or Load 75 depending on age of kids is a good shout.

It's still fucking LFGSS, you daft cunt etc and so on
-
• #68
😊

What makes this more of a cunt car than power barges like the Audi RS6 and Merc C63 estates that people here constantly jizz themselves all over?
Nothing (sans the strong profanity), we need to start embracing smaller cars. The arms race to go bigger and bigger is getting out of hand.

I like the driving tips in the dash screen. "Press clutch when starting"
I didn't do this once and my car drove driverlessly into the back of a van so makes you think

Wow 😂

There's a reason why compact SUVs like this, Audi Q3, Volvo XC40, etc. are popular with young families; it's a fuckload easier to get kids in and out of a taller car like this than a normal hatchback or estate.
Come on, really?
They're popular because SUVs are status cars and these mini-SUVs allow people to access that for less money. The manufacturers know this, which is why they've started making and pushing them. The fact that most don't have any increase in usable internal space over their hatchback siblings shows it's just marketing.
If you have mobility problems then I grant you it's easier on your back, but for anyone else it's fine. And that's only for the first couple of years before kids are getting in themselves...which they can easily do with a traditional car. The idea that anyone buys a Q3 for any practical reason is risible.
(that said I do agree with the original sentiment of that post)

That's a bit different surely?
They've effectively given the forum first refusal. If no one buys it then you move it. Can't say I've noticed people listing for say a day or two then moving it.
