I’m no Lego head at all but had a fun morning putting these together under the supervision of my 5yr old nephew who’s already incredibly adept at building stuff. Was pretty enjoyable and impressed by all the new swivels/ball joints I’d not seen before.

I've nowhere to vent my anger than here; but having commited at least 8 hours across Christmas Eve/Day to Lego Masters Australia on All4 the fucking final isn't on there!! Had to watch some highlights on YT 😱 Fuming.
May buy Lego to cheers self up.

Been many years since I made a Lego Technic, I remember the engines being similar but interesting to see they're using double wishbone design with steering arms/track rods and also a working diff, albeit open. Would love to see a Lego Technic LSD one day.

My main feedback would be for some reason they've not sorted the parts into sequential bags, and as I've started building it at my sister in law's house, I've got to keep all the parts in bags so it's easy to move around.

Was the orange GT3 RS similar?

L&W is working on the Range Rover. 6 bags, each containing 6 bags. 2500+ pieces. I had the Fast and Furious Charger last year. They are all similar; engines with pistons and proper suspensions. The Range Rover has a working 3 speed transmission, with low and high 4WD too.

The gearbox and 4WD sounds cool, I was tempted by the Defender but I love Porsches too much to turn it down.

Found this in a skip a while back. Had been partially built and broken up. Couple of glasses of red and a frantic couple of hours without the instructions (they were in the box but meh) and got it completed. Seems they go for a lot on ebay, far more than I would ever pay for Lego so very pleased with my find.

Ha. Amazing.
Oliver will be relieved to know I found space for it...
You didn't have an asteroid shower handy to hide it in?

Had good fun with this set over last couple of days, better than the Xmas tv.

It has made it out if the loft and I to my youngest son's bedroom (he has just rediscovered Lego at 19!!).
I managed to find enough bits to build one of the small star wars models yesterday.

No Porsche turret either...?

No Porsche turret
That would add 50% to the price, judging by the difference between generic kits and licensed Lego-X-Porsche sets 🙂
