Finally got around to playing the new Amyl & The Sniffers LP today... Disappointing record but terrific pressing!! Surprised at it's the blue vinyl version, not my choice, I always get black vinyl if I can... Maybe that's where I've been going wrong? 🤔😳

Does coloured/picture disc vinyl usually mean a small drop in sound quality?

I was listening to an old mix in the car yesterday that had Aaron Neville's Hercules on it, I was going to add it to my Discogs want list but Discogs informed me that I already own it on an old Acid Jazz LP! Another great song.

Finally got a copy of this on vinyl, for some reason I bought it on CD when it was released.

Wow - that is s0me sought after vinyl right there!

Managed to grab a few hard to find ones recently:

1. Maccabees - Complete Collection: the only place to get Given to the Wild as a vinyl - been on my Discogs waitlist for 15 months
   
2. Tyler the Creator - Wolf (limited edition): Goes for around £120 on Discogs - found a sealed copy for £32 inc shipping
   
   

Got something really hard to find winging its way to me from the US. Will detail when (if) it arrives.

Biggest issue I have is actually listening to vinyl at the moment. If I'm lucky, I'll listen to one a day whilst I'm working but I've gone nearly two weeks without listening to a single record because I've been slammed. Got 11 new vinyls in the stack that haven't even been played yet.

Have you ordered from the states before? I would be interested to know the value of the order and if you get charged import duties. There are a few I am after that are only available in the states.

I order new vinyls from the US fairly regularly (usually from artists Bandcamp pages directly) and haven't had an import fees yet, though they've all been less than £100.

New one is surprisingly cheap (less than £50).
