the likelihood is there will only be three of us attending.

The Lamb suits me, cuts down my commute by about 10%

If we subscribe to the current immutable Law of Wests,
that 'only Three can ever gather together',
2 votes is an unbeatable majority.

I'll be in Kent so I'm not going to disturb the quorum.

(Pints of) Soda water with slice of lime was a Summer choice this year at Wests.

Lime and soda is ok, if half the pint is lime juice. OJ and soda is doable.

A pint of Tia Maria isn't really drinking is it? It's just coffee juice...

@big_daddy_wayne used to take great pleasure in getting everyone's favourite Aussie Hardman™ to order Baileys for him so I'd come back from the bar with 4 pints and a little snifter of tyre sealant for him.

Late Thursday bump.
Will gladly cycle a chilly afternoon 45 mile loop through Windsor every day
if it always results in the resignation of a corrupt Tory MP.

Tonight 19.30, The Lamb.

The previously mentioned 'Legions of the West'
predictably numbered just the two us of, @Sifta and myself.

The Lamb was a little fuller, with the dining zone behind the bar area open and seemingly full.

The ride home was chilly, but I had worn my Winter Galibier gloves
and thicker socks, so did arrive home without feezing extremities.
The last weeks' NW/NNW winds realy have delivered Autumn.
