Will wait for the SL version (hopefully soon)

Currently using them on my commute as I’ve ruined my marathon pluses (think they lasted me about just under a year)
Nothing wrong with them just heavy as a tank but also bomb proof until they’re not. Only changing as I’ve heard you rave about them and also sick and tired of cleaning the tan walls.

Side note, is there meant to be some play at the back of the rear 2 speed wheel/hub? I’ve tighten up as much as I can and there some play. Just asking if this was normal or maybe a fix as this a recent brand new wheel.

Sure it is not play in the rear triangle?

Sure it's not in your bushings?

Sure it's not in your mind?

Marathons are my go to.
Not the fastest, if I'm in a rush I'll not take my Brompton.

• #10309
Bromptons are too fun to go slow!
I think my orange rebuild will be the best yet; not a superlight or anything just a fun fast bike

All and above I guess, did go back and put some weight in the back of the saddle and there is a small play in the hub area. Dunno maybe I’m just paranoid since switching over the conti.

Wheel should have no play unless a Sturmey hub. Check it’s not the rear hinge by unclipping at the seatclamp and holding the dropout

I digress, could be my shopping, chill and meet your mates, loaner for visiting friends or don't care whatever the weather bike.
Got 3 of them ;)

TL;DR short pull levers with horizontal-exit cables?
I've put a flat bar on my M stem, and use a full-size O bag, which means that the OEM brake cables get caught on the bag handle when folding the bike because they exit pointing slightly down instead of horizontally.
I've popped some Avid levers on which have solved the folding problem, but they're long pull so braking power is greatly diminished. Commute is pretty flat so it's not the end of world but I'm not filled with confidence when I use them.
I've seen the Paul levers but I'm not spanking that much on levers thanks. -

You try ride it? Flat bar on m is very short and very low...

Lo-pro brommie….

BL-R550 work well enough for me, though they result in no posing points.

Been riding it with 1 scoblebrick®️ for a couple months. Reach is a bit short but it's actually quite comfy, though it's really a 20mm rise rather than flat.
I would have bought that S stem off you but you never responded to my message, sad times.

They look ideal, thanks

Oh! What! I didn’t see any replies?
I do have a pre 2017 and post 2019 m type stem?
The newer will give you more height and reach

Aye!
Maybe next year or year after when BWC is back on I’ll trip it to London with the fam.

Which Avids? Get the SD7 and you will be able to make it short pull by adjusting the red dial.
Beers please!
Oh yeah I sort of assumed the graphic before “ones” was a G like the road tyre 😂
