@gilllies having tested the Load 75 Rohloff HS this morning, I do think it is a better bike than the Packster 70 with Automatic Enviolo. Smaller box and wider turning circle compensated for by the overall ride feel of the Load 75.

That's really good to hear! I'm about 95% of the way there - most likely will place my order first thing Monday

I think it will definitely put a smile on your face. Some of the ergonomics aren't quite as friendly as a family carrier, but it makes up for it with the sheer joy to ride.

Because I always wonder things like this; what do people think r und m would do if a customer refused to give their P70 back. Could a customer hold them to ransom over it? Would r und m be able to leave one out their in the world?

As you can tell I'm thinking about this way too much.

I don't think they would mind. They have pretty much eliminated any liability by the actions they have taken. The reason I wouldn't hold on to mine is warranty and servicing / repairs. And that the steering might fail, obvs.

Get a Load 75 though. They are good.

When I went to SBC yesterday, it sounded like you could get an electric bullit on short lead time (weeks rather than months)..

I'm looking at cube cargo again.

They can’t make you give it back. But, legally, if something bad were to then happen, you’d probably not have much of a leg to stand on.

Broke the freewheel on my Nuvinci 380 hub yesterday.
Did 5 years of hard grind so no hard feelings. No idea where the pawls ended up!
Now the challenge is to find spares in London asap...

It looks like they're the same on all NuVinci Hubs.
I will DM youhttps://www.reallyusefulbikes.co.uk/hub-gears/nuvinci-freewheel-replacement-hardware
https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/hub-spares/nuvinci-freewheel-assembly-3-spring/
EDIT: I have ordered one but with most bike shops being closed on a Monday & no clear delivery times, I won't be back on the bike before the weekend!

Jesus. I mean they are nice, but would be expecting to see top dog components on every part of it for that kind of £££
