how much would it cost to post a 35mm film in the uk? I have stamps but no access to a post office.
-
• #109004
Well we've already been subjected to Silverline.

(check the bit for UK Standard - Small Parcel)

I think you're going to be Small Parcel size frustratingly, I think a film is too thick to get through as Large Letter.

Thanks both!

Pull it all off the reel and whack it in an envelope.

What’s the best value MTB shoe for spd cleats?
My Sidi Dominators (44) are dead and I’m dead broke, similar last shape would be great.
I use eggbeaters (bite me). -

I got on with Northwave ones, weren't too spenny

• #109011
Dead cheapest ones must be the Decathlon ones.
-
• #109012
Thanks chaps. The decathlon ones look pretty nasty.
Any love for DHB?

I like diadoras, sometimes pretty cheap (haven't looked lately tho)

Is there anyone in or near Stoke Newington who has a home printer and would be able to print off a dozen A4 sheets if I emailed them the poster? I'd pay for any materials and collect. Thanks.

Where should I go for lunch in Balham on Saturday. Post mini_com's Rugby Tots and pre a drive to Southend. No specific dietary requirements, just kid friendly. I don't know the area at all, barring the aforementioned Rugby Tots.

Yep, Crouch End. DM me and I'll sort it for you.
(assuming close enough!)

I think you should leave them and see if they mutate/evolve into a new form. The overall look of you.

Certainly, thanks to your sweat.

As no one has replied.
Not Balham, half serious but it always seems a bit manky (and I lived there for years) .
There’s a few places on the main drag south of the tube which look ok as I pass by most days, a Gails iirc, no idea on kid friendly and there’s a nice bakery you can sit outside on Ritherdon road for a more casual vibe. Probably better south of the tube than north but I’ve not been out on Bedford hill for a long time and that always had a fair amount of eateries, although again they all seemed a bit more for adults than families.
I’d probably just head to Tooting Bec end and grab a curry tbh as the thought of lunch in a Gails is fairly depressing. -

Ikea returns for flat pack furniture....
We will be happy to give you a full refund by the same method as your original payment for products that are returned with proof of purchase in new, unused and re-saleable condition and with the packaging.
So... does the hive think you could get away with assembling, disassembling and then returning as long as you don't fuck anything up and manage the packaging?

I successfully returned a sofa that we realised was too big for the room once assembled. I think I’d even dismantled some of the boxes so needed to tape them back together (neatly). IKEA Greenwich took it back no questions asked.
-

You'd never get the packing back into a perfect new / unused condition.
So no.
This really covers the "I bought too many of a thing or the wrong things and want a refund" outside of statutory rights, but not "I've used the thing and no longer desire it".

Just to Mirch Masala in Tooting.

I'm sure I've seen posters up in store about them accepting assembled furniture for returns.
(Note the wording says "with the packaging", not in it, though that may not be significant)
