  • More hot miles on my Rourke. Now ‘upgraded’ now with DT shifters instead of Ergos. Love it.

  • Here's my first Rourke! A little tatty in terms of paint and chrome but easy on the eye and solid.

Will build up as fixed for the time being - may chuck gears on at some point 😁

  • That looks pretty sharp, out of curiosity what sort of tyre clearance does the frame have? It looks to be of a similar ilk to mine a bit further up the page.

  • It was specced (not by me) to be built to clear 28s.

I have 25s on wide carbon rims which probably measure up closer to 26-27mm and they fit fine with room to spare.

  • This is a beautiful frame, noticed it on eBay, out of interest what stems length are going to use on this as I thought it had a bit of a short top tube for a 61cm?

  • Thanks, mine apparently clears 28s but I’ve yet to put a set of wheels in and see how tight my 32s are. I’m currently too busy balking at the price of all the bits I need to build it....

  • Yeh the tt measured a little shorter than my current frame but I’m a champion of shortish stems anyway so thought it would probably help balance the look of the bike if I can fit a stem longer than 90mm.

It’s currently hanging on the wall keeping it safe from my clumsy wife and investigative daughter, as above I need to try wheels on it and get an idea of reach etc beside my current bike.

  • That’s really nice. Enjoy.

  • Gave my Rourke some much needed TLC and a respray. Two tone green to blue paint with black metallic underneath. Very pleased with the result.

  • Nice. Was the paint done by Rourke?

  • Thanks, No I did it myself with cans. Got it professionally sandblasted first to get rid of the bad paint and some rust.

  • Very nice for a can job. Did you clear over the decals?

  • Very nice! What cans did you use??

  • Thanks! Yep two cans of clearcoat to be sure. Has a great shine now too.

  • I got primer, base, chromacoat and clearcoat from here: https://www.specialistpaints.com/products/chromacoat

  • Completed the NC500 on my Rouke last month
Not officially a tourer but it was smooth sailing!
Recently ugraded the shifters with some campag xenon parts too

  • this looks awesome!

  • I think that frame used to belong to me!

Has the paint on the bottom bracket been touched-up?

    (Good effort in any case).

  • I bought it off here from @Brazelephantman maybe you sold it to him?
Yeah something's going on down by the BB. Looks like it could be a repaint

  • I sold it to the bloke who sold it to @Brazelphantman. It's a nice frame, good to see it being used properly.

  • Hey picco was this the decal you were talking to me about? I love this one… https://www.lfgss.com/comments/16057289/

  • No, not that one. I love rourkes but some of the paint choices and decals are shocking. And they also seem to do at least 4 different styles. Not sure why. I was v lucky to find one with wicked paint and the decal I prefer

  • The one I like is
