i wonder if olmos are kind of rare? i was able to find a couple of multishape frames from other manufacurers but from olmo....it seems so rare...

I had it painted by a specialist painter here in the Netherlands. There's choice from a number of specialists around here for this kind of work. Not sure where you are located but I think it's best to find a painter locally to prevent the shipping hassle. Could be a body shop who are willing to take it on.

Olmo never was one of the big brands, producing smaller numbers, and seem to have done small batches of all kinds of higher end models.

i live in austria. have not found a painter here yet. also, how much should i be willing to spend on a proper paintjob? if you could provide me with a ballpark figure that would be very helpful.

nice ! i'm trying to get as much information about the frame as possible. unfortunately old olmo catalogs are not readily available.
i just recently stumbled upon the old somec catalogs (they even offer them up on their website).
curiously enough their Columbus MS model is also named "Leader" :D

Just finished the build - really happy with the results, although I don't expect to be out on it much over winter :(

I do not think it's a Competition, but still a high quality frame and I might have bumped into another one. That Olmo Team sticker was cool.

My friend is looking for a bike and sent me this. What are the chances of it being actually Olmo? My first guess is it looks like a random bike with Olmo stickers but tbh Im not knowledgeable enough to be confident. No panto anywhere, frame number on stamped drops, english BB, and light bracket on fork.

Anyone have an opinion on it?

It is not.
And if it was it would be a very low entry one
