like, was put off recommending the Grail for my partner due to lack of clearance but this looks well thought out. An Al version could be nice now we pay a nice little brexit add on for canyon.

I liked the old hover bar though. This is a bit more vanilla.
Always wanted to find a pair second hand but never seen any for sale -

What does this mean? If they're both long/high, it's 'normal' geo, no?

Short stem, wide bar, for shredz

Yeah, like "buy the size that fits you".
Next.

I guess it could be an issue for people wanting something smaller than the smallest size, like @spinnnout referred to.

Tell me more about these... 'midgets'

It's the same geometry as the existing Grail as far as I can tell.
I bought the Al Grail one 2 years ago, partly to avoid the silly bars.
Very tempted to get this... but will the increased clearance on the XS which comes with 650b x 45 mean that 700c x 30mm slicks or so will also fit...?

I would expect so. The outer diam. would be about the same and the tyre would be skinnier, so why not?

Be fine on zwift

This is insufficient evidence for me to hit buy and spend £2.5k before they all get sold in the next few hours...
Anyway they are barely any lighter than the Al one I have, probably because of a heavier fork. I might as well just get some nice 650b wheels for road use.

I've used my 650B with Horizons for commuting and light gravel (aka Chiltern dirt). Depends on what you're using it for.

I already do use it for tarmac and offroad with different 650b wheels. This is about 700c compatibility to cover fast road riding case with light tyres. Which I have decided isn't sufficient to justify a new version of a bike I already own.
