We just need to release a few more carbon thingies into the atmosphere. Pretty soon Scotland will be tropical, beach-front paradise...

If anyone is struggling with pedal strikes. Or if you're not a fan of the long, slack and low trend, then you're in luck...

The bike noise on that video is alarming. The sense that at any time, any one of those bikes might just fall apart.

I'm in that club also. If by some amazing combination of wrong choices I end up racing XC I can always swap tyres. But, given I don't have the bike yet, I think this is a bit premature. :)

Yeh word! Someone said yesterday about my Scott ‘you might want to swap the bars, post etc for xc, they’re a bit heavy’ and I pointed out I was 91kg so it might not help!
Out of interest how long typically would a lap be for a 12/24hr type race? We’re planning a 12hr fundraiser for our local track around the park and the best loop I’ve found is 2.2km with 50m climbing, some single track descent, bit of flat easy path and a fire road type climb. I’m sure it’ll get repetitive but is that too short a lap?
I, um, I'm going to think about that...
