Either there is written or audio proof he said it or not.
Edit: not reading to end of thread fail, beaten to it by mustardbeak
Seems he is on record as saying so.

This is the guy who came up with this to mock supermarket beers so I can understand the push back

I have loads of thoughts on this, but ultimately it's Paul's business and he can do what he likes.

Seven Brothers Honeycomb pale ale
Very sweet (unsurprisingly) but quite good dessert beer.
Made a nice change from super sweet stouts, a super sweet ale.
One for the sweet toothed amongst us -

Have been eyeing this for the last few days in Little France in SN Church St, and finally succumbed today. I was worried it might be too sweet, what with the treacle, but no, it’s measured perfectly. Thick and heavy with a real dark richness. Superb.

I can share a Beer52 50% off your first subscription box code, if that’s anyone’s thing. Makes it £12 for 8. You can cancel any time but only by phoning them, and I get free beer if you keep going to a full price box. My first box is going to be full of Belgian light beer, just in time for all the Belgian bike races to have pretty much finished! Just shout if you want the link.

Looked fairly busy. I knew it was a cafe with beers but didn't realise that it was a full blown pub in the evenings too now.

Had this over the weekend. Would thoroughly recommend, one of the best beers I've had in the last couple of years.

Is the Erdinger Dunkel new in Tesco or have they brought it back? I was pleasantly surprised by that.
Also had my first ever Kwak from Whole Foods Market which seems to have been a massive oversight on my part. WFM have some keen pricing on Verdant beers too. -

A definite fave of mine. The missus likes Cherry Chouffe too. Was chatting about their different options the other week and my mate went and grabbed as many as he could...

The first time I drank a Rauchbier I couldn't believe it didn't have bacon in it. Such a weird experience.

My Co-op sells it.

Interestingly, I fell in love with it as it was the only decent beer in the Co-op near my mother in-law's. Sadly my own local Co-op doesn't have it. I ordered a whole load more via Amazon/Morrisons, though.

This appeared on my social feed today. Alcohol free beer that still gets you ‘drunk’ without a hangover? hmmmm

Intrigued but can't imagine it not being a massive disappointment. Pretty pricey punt.

Just enjoyed the IPA with columbus at my allotment. The Double India Porter with Mosaic and Sabro is worth picking up too.
