  • Small craft brewers are struggling to find manpower.

They should branch out into womanpower and hire @KatBalou. :)

  • Will happily work at The Kernel in exchange for beer

  • Well, what are you waiting for? :)

  • Sadly beer won't pay my mortgage and neither will a job in the industry

  • Pffft, who needs houses when there are large barrels.

  • As they had started the nice 0.33l bottles at the lemonade barn today.

  • Picked up a couple of the collab 4 packs along with the BrewdogXSalt and a Brewdog Double Hazy.

Loved all of the four pack. The Queer Brewing probably my favourite, although there wasn't much in it. The Karma 0.5% was also a very refreshing low alcohol option and made caning the whole pack less of a "daddy needs to go lie down now" affair of a Saturday evening in with the family.

The BrewdogXSalt was also lovely and the Double Hazy was much more palatable than the Triple Hazy I tried previously.

  • Basque cider. To be poured from height.

  • My Sainsbury’s have a load of new and new to them beer in; new BrewdogXMikkeller had sold out though.

  • Friday line up

  • Brewery visit? Solid line-up

  • Nah just a 15 can mixed box delivery

  • Nice! I find this less messy. Not worth it for a one-off but if a regular drinker it's a pretty useful investment. 2 years on, still pumping strong

  • Lovely stuff. Fell in love with that when we went to a txuleta place a few years ago.

I was drinking this last week in Looe. Not confident an establishment that scribbles a hastily estimated abv in biro. This stuff felt more like ~9-10% to me.

  • Haha! Is that like a mini cider keg tap thing?

Haven’t had this since hanging out with my friends’ dad in Donostia. Homebrew from a neighbour I think. Super fresh and zingy like vinho verde.

  • Bloody love a bit of Breton cidre.

  • Beak have been consistently fantastic in my experience.

Gone off the deep end with this de molen. It’s bloody lush.

  • It's a pump, shoots it out at quite a rate so gives it the fizzy zing. The annoying sound is my only gripe.

Pick my ciders up from local supermarkets here in Madrid for only a couple of euros a pop, so doubt they're the best examples. So refreshing though. Vinho verde... Memories of good holidays

  • Nectar of the gods that stuff

  • Bashed back about ten pints of this in my local (Hare & Hounds E10) last night. Their equivalent used to be Redchurch Paradise Pale, which I was missing when I went last week - very pleased with the replacement. I can’t drink ten pints of Vedett 🥴

  • I'm not sure I could even drink ten pints of water

  • Was exaggerating slightly. Think it was 8 and not feeling too bad today. Whereas 6 pints of Vedett at 5% was more than enough.

  • The Cloudwater colab box from Tesco (possibly other supermarkets). Fairly underwhelming, out of the three I've tried only one had any life to it, Queer and Rock Leopard are both almost flat

    Wouldn't bang again

  • I had the petite saison last night. A very nice subtle, understated beer.
