Might be colloquial but I think I’d have used ‘me fui’ too. Vine and me vine are also very different.

Same root as sombre, like a sombre mood. It’s shadow, or in this case shade. Good job.

That's the kind of thing that my brain is likely to recall. When I can link stuff back to english words I find I can retrieve them better.
