I am going to have to redo this I think. There is a fold too many.it was an attempt to create more space for shoes, but I am not sure it is very successful.
At least there is something there now

This is the ugliest bike I've built I think. Maybe my first fixie was worse, but it's up there.

It is ridable for Saturday. Then if my mate is pleased, plan is to take it apart and get frame and stem powder coated and order different grips and bars with more rise.

And probably bigger tyres with more grip..

I can't handle the 2016 nodder colour way sorry. Parts are fine tho so a bit of styling will bring it home

It looks like it should. It’s clearly parts bin rather than active choice of someone with no taste.

Could've leaned into the Fast and Furious colour scheme with ano'd parts everywhere, but I understand the budgetary restraints..

Yeah you’ve managed to make that radder than the sum of its dubiously colourway parts IMO! What did you have in mind for a colour to powder coat it? I’m assuming you’ll take the blue shock lower arms as a starting point? Baby pink, right? :-)

We are probably going to just live with the lairy forks and let them shine by picking an earth tone for the frame and stem.

Nice, yeah I like the idea of making the fork colour (which might otherwise be a bit anti!) a focal point.

Fwiw I agree it's awful. Though pretty nice to see a more oldhat and accessible mtb on here.
Looking forward to some trad hulsroy neutral if it all goes well though

Great success today. He will need more rise and maybe longer stem I think, but he was flying today so all good.
