Chosen makes them.
Halo is the same hub with different body shape and better end caps. They have larger contact area.

For that price I could get TB14's instead!

Araya TX310F (not tubeless)
Halo T2: not tubeless, not silver (could strip) also bit wideAnyone else got any tips?

VO Diagonale exist, but aren’t tubeless-ready. Not sure who sells them now but I bought mine from Freshtripe.

Seems FT don’t have those in 650b, nor the way more expensive tubeless ‘voyager’.

if I’m going to get started building wheels should I buy a better stand (TS2.2 I guess?) now and a tension meter later? or a cheaper stand + meter
-
• #10438
when u wanna start building wheels you can use a cheaper stand at first, the TS 2.2 is a very professional tool, but a 50 bucks stand will do the job too. DIY truing stands are even cheaper. For the tension meter, I think that can be purchased later, at first you will frustrate yourself with thoughts like "why this is taking soooo much time", so keep it essential for the first couple wheelbuilds. maybe others will say that a tension meter is a must have. Sheldon Brown also has a few tips on improvised tools https://www.sheldonbrown.com/wheelbuild.html#improvised

Just that €66 is quite steep for XR22t's, it's almost double what I'm used to.

If it were me, I’d buy the nice stand.

Kinlin XR26T, Dura Ace track low flange 28h. Won’t be ridden hard.
2x or 3x? Thanks. -
• #10442
2x should be okay.
-
• #10443
3x should be OK 🙂
There's so little difference (and if you cared about performance, you wouldn't start from here) that it becomes primarily an aesthetic choice. For that reason, I'd go for 3x.

Ambrosio Keba la confrerie des 650
Non tubeless.Heavier than the VO.
Cheap and very strong.
I pushed them well into mtb territory on 32 tyres. -
• #10447
I buy spokes of them sometimes

Any suggestions for tandem 's rims.
650, 42 tyres.
Day trips.
The keba above might do,
I d like something a bit sturdier,
to be able to venture on canal path without too much worries. -
• #10449
Correct. I would go 2x for athetics. Its really down to that. Been build 28h non disc wheels 2x for years just because i like the look.
Pick the one you like the most.
