The Grand Seiko's sometimes excite me but sometimes leave me cold, which is probably telling me that that's not the right choice (and because I've said that I'll probably buy one this weekend....)

Could be a good opportunity to dip into the Tudor GMT.

Even wilder idea - searching this thread for “GMT” would probably turn up a bunch of GMTs that we like, including from the last few times Dammit has asked.

And, indeed, if what I was after was pictures of watches and/or the advertising copy that goes with them then I'd be well served by going that route.

Asking people for their own input seems to have met with fierce resistance, so let's park this.
