I have those, you can’t add a cinch back because the denim is too thick. I did design a super high rise 30s naval style jean though. They came out pretty good.

As far as I can work out it appears there is a cut off around 18-20oz where they stop offering the cinch. I am tempted to go for a pair at around 18 oz with cinch, braces buttons etc.

Are they wearable?
I don't actually like overly heavy denim, but with the custom aspect I wonder if I could have them as motorbike jeans. Although that would require more thought than I have spare at the moment.
On cinches. I love the aesthetics, but on the couple of pairs in the past I've had they tended to loosen a bit anyway negating what would have otherwise been super useful for a fabric that gives so much.
