Saw a few of them snapped from big drops and maybe being on a bike for too long/wrong kind of riding. Always thought of them as a bit fragile after that.

Yarp, nearly the same, but I found some period-correct tall chrome kneesaver bars and took the pegs off, and swapped the chainring. Same seat and colourway on decals. Can you believe I dragged it out a pile of scrap?

How much are you thinking and where are you based?

I was thinking £120 plus postage but happy to negotiate that. Will pop a recent picture here after a day on a muddy pump track...
No dents or cracks but has scrapes in all the usual places that bmx get. Am happy to take more detailed pics and am based in Suffolk/Norfolk if you are out this way

Who was outraged? Reuben?

Nah nah, few people I follow on Instagram has posted the pic of the catalogue page, which btw I could not find, with comments about how it was ripping Reuben and Fingers Crossed off. I expect there was as much jumping on the bandwagon in the dissing WTP as there was in WTP bringing out the bike.

It’s funny, I did a disc tabs conversion and a build up with some really expensive Hope parts and jet slick anodising for a local rider and there was a load of butthurt folk whinging about discs ‘polluting the scene’ when I posted photos then some similar stuff when I posted some wheels I built to go on a deathpack full susser but then I slapped a cheap and pretty nasty 20” sus fork on my midschool T-Nez and everyone loved it. And again when I put a v brake on the T-Nez, no kick back about hacking up my frame and putting a v brake where it doesn’t belong, only positive comments.

It seems like, do what you want with your bike so long as it’s done cheaply so it’s attainable for the masses.

I built a wheelset last week with one of those Magneto hubs. Super nice. Quite interesting how it’s really a 10mm on the driveside, 14mm on the nds.

Noise it made was ridonk!

Rims were some super lightweight Alienation ones that had two valve holes, normal schreader as you’d expect and a presta about 1/5 of the way round the rim for if you wanted to go tubeless.

Alienation obviously not aware of a) valves drilling adapters or b) schreader tubeless valves?
