Remiss of me to forget our old friend IVAR - again, bang some white osmo on there to tone down the grain. Add a pine worktop atop for a better seamless look.

IVAR hacks are looking really great! Currently unavailable though, sadly, but have some ideas for elsewhere in the house. I can’t face any more Metod bits as the horror of doing the kitchen is still too fresh in my mind.
There are some clearance Bo Concept pieces that might work well too. At RRP it all seems really overpriced.

I’d drop some ppl on IG a message - if you give them a budget and what you like, you’ll soon find out if you’re way off. Would suggest that before going for something from HAY etc
If not then as others say there are a few IKEA hacks or similar you could employ. -

Yeah I know what you mean - they’re very well made but yeah pricey.
Huhstore have 30% off all cushions some nice Ferm/HAY ones -

Ah. Based in Germany. I’m having ‘fun’ with suppliers moving shipping terms from DDP to DAP with brokerage fees. Really appreciating ‘taking back control’ though.
The mind fucking boggles.

Dream set-up. My wife won’t accept that chair unfortunately. She’s suggested a flag halyard replica but I am not convinced

They look quite comfy.
I still would like to find my family's old Wassily chair some day to complete the theme.
Wife has a LC2 inspired sofa in her office which is really quite nice. -

Love a Wassily

I have an og norell sirocco along those lines. Looks good but no headrest..

I've only sat in one once but it felt like a chair where the only thing I would be doing in it is nothing/sleeping. Wouldnt suit us but it might suit you?

The flag halyard? I would have it plotted up by the wood burner in front of the TV for serious chilling. Even the replicas are a couple of grand and I have mucho fear my daughters would unravel all the string..

We had a Wassily copy at home for a while - looks wicked - extremely uncomfortable.
That Eames is a belter tho .... well jel -
