How many pair of cycling shoes do you own?

Just out of interest, how many pairs of cycling shoes do you own? How many is too many?

1x Fizik R1 white for summer road use
1x Giro Factor black for wet road use
1x Sidi Dragons for mtb and town riding
1x NorthWave Celsius mtb and 1x road for winter riding
1x Specialized 2FO for mtb flat pedals (these are very summery and vented)
1x 5 Ten Impact for flat pedal mtb (these are bulkier and warmer and normally paired with sealskin socks)

One's enough

2 x mtb (winter/summer)
2 x road (winter/summer)
1 x SPD comfy for touring duties

2x mtb / commute (spds)
1 x road
1x road winter boot
2 x mtb / commute winter boots
One old pair of spd shoes which are lying in the drying room at work

Seems quite a lot but everything thing seems to get regular use (unlike our vast pile of bikes)

Off the top of my head at least 10 pairs.

2 of them aren't midfoot so should really be sold (although I might try the SIDIs off-road again) and there's definitely going to be more in Oz and Poland I've just forgotten about.

Top tip: use flats and make all your shoes cycling shoes.

1 x Sidi Alba 2 - Turbo & Commuting
2 x Side Wire 2 Carbon - Still in their boxes - Spares for when the others wear out
(Extravagant but when I find something that works I tend to stick to it so this saves the whole different shoes / different brands / different sizes messing about for the next few years)

That would add another few pairs to my list then. "pub bike shoes" :)

1x Giro Rumblers is all you'll ever need. For any occasion. Weddings, Audax, etc etc.
