Not that I know of, sorry. Best get a compatible road RD (or an old style mtb RD with compatible routing) and an extension for the hanger I think.

Any 'thin-walled' 1-1/8" headset spacers with outer diameter of 31.5 - 31.8mm available in the UK?
Something similar to this: https://www.renehersecycles.com/shop/components/stems-decaleurs/stem-spacers/

@gbj_tester makes some I think.

shifter/RD
I ran exactly the shifter/RD combo on the bike I built for my first attempt at the Fred Whitton. 6700 3x10 shifters an a 772 RD. Worked fine.

Excellent @Brommers . @TheShipwright let us know how things go?

@russmeyer will do but don't hold your breath, I'm really slow! :-)

My Croix de fer clearly isn’t designed with chunky 650b tyres in mind, but would it be possible to get my chainstay crimps extended further down the stays to increase 650b clearance? Certain firey death?
(I’d get a professional to do it rather than diy)

I want to replace chainset, but a bit puzzled by BB'S. There is something around 26444654335 different types of them, and they need to match the frame. But I don’t see 26444654335 different versions of cranksets around, existing ones are usually having different cranks length and chainrings. Does it mean I can put any crankset in my BB? (I have now threded BB and RS510 fitted and want to upgrade to Ultegra).

Every bottom bracket has two interfaces - one that fits your frame and the other that fits your cranks. You can think of it as an adapter between the two if you like. There's much more variety on the frame side than on the crank side.
In particular both the RS510 and any vaguely modern Ultegra cranks (2005 onwards) both use the Shimano Hollowtech II road standard to interface with the BB, so it's a straight swap.

Any advice on how to replace these bearings in a FSA mega evo bottom bracket?

What tools do you have available?
It’s an outboard BB adapter, so you should be able to tap out/pull out/dremel out carefully the old bearings, and press in new ones. Unless the BB shell threads on the frame are damaged, I’d remove the BB and replace the bearings with it off the bike.

Worn down SwissStop brake pads are stuck in their holders. Anyone know how to remove?
-
• #266
poke them out from the other side with a small screwdriver and maybe a mallet
-
• #267
While they are in the calipers? There isn't much to hold on to. Very fiddly.
-
• #268
Yeah you should be able to stab the point into the soft pad meat
-
• #269
Take the wheel out as well
-
• #270
its the grime that does it, warm soapy water and brush wash it quickly, it should come out easily then
-
• #271
Remove the screws holding the pads in. Get on the bike, roll it backwards, apply brakes?

• #272
thanks @amey and @fizzy.bleach. 'Soft pad meat' 🤢
@ffm that could be genius...

Which tools?
-
• #274
You need a bearing puller to remove the existing bearings and suitable press to put the new ones in. Luckily, someone sells such a thing for cyclists that refuse to simply bin and replace the entire external BB and would rather instead gamble on being able to mimic factory level tolerances in the comfort of their own home:

Thank you. As are my tolerances with FSA bbs (wearing thin), however the FSA light cranks are so nice.
While the axle has some slight marks now it seems unlikely that the bbs last long enough to wreck the cranks by grinding material off the axle to start vertical play like the Hollowtechs did.
@russmeyer cheers, do you think any 10 speed road STI would work?
