Especially when it’s got rowdy warrior-like gravel bike geo ......

'rowdy'
😬

“Those who like rowdy geometry only live to get radical. They don't understand the gravel, so they'll never get the spiritual side of it.”

‘Rowdy’ is on a par with ‘party pace’.

Or dated geometry completely unfit for purpose?

Is it geometry week already? I'm still figuring out rim widths

Ok captain headtube.

Besides, I'm captain ALL THE TUBES

Honestly I don't have time for people body shaming on the internet. I am proud of my bikes and their geometry and that I am not measurable by your conventional standards.
Behind these bike photos are people with chronic neck pains who still enjoy cycling.

I posted a pinion bike, you didn’t notice :(

I was not having a go at you. We are in the same ugly ass boat

My point was the tiny head tube on this, do they not know it’s 2020 and gravel bikes deserve better.
Looks like a lo pro.

6'2" & 36" inside leg. Right with you on that.
Terrible short headtube on that Peregrine. Frame does look too small for the build but still...

I get that, isn’t this a problem with classic geo bicycle in general?
Like in the past, people often go a size or two bigger to have the handlebar high enough.

The horizontal top tube alone does not make the geometry dated. If it was it certainly wouldn't have that much seatpost showing. There's nowt wrong with spacers per se, and some bikes expect x amount of them to have the handlebars where they should be.
It certainly looks better than those high stack bikes with slammed stems.
Given the noise my jockey wheels are making, I would love to trying the Pinion+Gates combo.
