Where did you start? It's been on my list for a while!

Ah ok, I was hoping for a quick link. I’ll need to look in to it further.
Ah mine has something like that already.

Any recommendations for bike hanger hooks for deep wheels and large tyres?
-
• #32681
If it's the lightweight version with the holes in the middle, it's dogshit and you want the cheaper more sturdy one.

Have 46deep/28c on one of these and it says upto 3 inch MTB.

Do you have to hang the bike vertically or can you hang it horizontally? The pedal hooks are very good for storing bikes.
-
• #32686
Bikes need to be vertical. Of particular issue is the 50mm rim with 42 tyre…

Is that a Continental Contact?
-
• #32693
Contact doesn't have side knobs does it? Looks like a Sendero got with a Byway. I care not for RH tyres though so happy to let the hipsters at 'em.

• #32694
Not sure why we've got a downer on these RH tyres, they feature noise cancelling technology

Does anybody have a Supersix SE?
Impending baby arrival means losing a precious bike storage room and I might have to go down the mythical one bike for everything route. Need something light(ISH) and fairly racy for road stuff, but also with capability to do lux gravel (mud not an issue where I am). I don't want a Crux.
Geo and price on Supersix SE work, and it takes up to 45mm which is enough for me. Any reason not to buy?

The solution to this is a Crux. You need to come out of denial.

They are approx 50% more expensive. Also, for some reason, I just don't like them visually. There's something about the tube shape and paint that faintly whispers Marmite jersey.

Congratulations on this.
You may also be losing precious bike riding time so go with what you will enjoy every time you get the chance to get out. An off the peg Crux or other bike is likely to come with 35mm or similar tyres which appears to suit your use case better than wider standard that might come with your suggested item.
If you err for more racy road stuff, you might also err to 2x. I think all the Crux (I don't even care what the plural might be) come as 1x. So there, there is 1 reason not to purchase the same.
Ride both, you will know within about 30 seconds?
How the fuck did I miss out on my BJ on the beach? I obviously didn’t plan our route properly last time.
