If trump loses this, the next couple of months till Biden takes over in Jan are going to be fucking wild

The betting markets seem to think Biden has it. For what it's worth (not much).

I feel I probably know this but wondering if it's for a more substantive reason - why do different sources cite different current counts?
Gruaniad and Fox something like 238-214 last I checked, bbc 224-213, nyt 227-213 - is it simply down to projections? In which case why do Gruan and Fox align? (Apart from the recent pretence of a shift away from Trump by Fox so that when they said 'well it turns out he won after all' trumpo can say 'see, even the fake news fox thinks i won').

Bolton though. Didn't testify in the impeachment trial either. Gets fired, now attacks Trump. "principles"
Tried to lure the UK into a nasty diplomatic issue over an oil tanker...which succeeded. He made the UK think they had to block it over an embargo, the EU was like "hm not really".

Biden's lead in Wisconsin is 0.7%, anything below 1% and he can request a recount.

If the NYtimes link up there is credible, and Pennsylvania is in play, then I feel very optimistic right now.
PA won't be needed if he gets NV + WI + MI. Those three would take him to 270 and the best Trump could get, winning all of the others, would be 268.

I'm not sure I fully believe that, I see it as similar to our election constituencies so areas with more people don't have more sway.

Oddly, it is down to media outlets to declare states as settled or not.
The main discrepancy is that Fox has called Arizona for Biden and CNN and AP have not.

Not convinced America will be fucked? So what exactly would be un-fucked about Trump winning? Explain.
-
• #11387
Yeah could be, I'm definitely not an expert!
Seems mad that it isn't just popular vote.

• #11388
They're both using data from the AP who haven't called AZ

Seems mad that it isn't just popular vote.
Yeah but don't worry all the important polls are popular vote, like Brexit...
-

They're not all counted yet and some agencies call it based on the tallied results thus far. That's really all there is to it.

Goatees should be regulated.
I am not blaming the lady one bit. If I was married to a goatee wearer I'd be arming myself too. -

and from Marjorie's twitter...
It's like a football match going into extra time and one set of fans saying "well we're winning at the moment so nothing should count now". I know, foolish of me to expect anything to be based around reason or logic, but it just terrifies me that these are also the people that get to make decisions.

Is anyone else not just a little peeved that the Libertarian Party has picked up enough votes in some states to make an actual difference. Obviously that assumes that people voting for them would have voted Biden rather than for Trump or not at all.

I accidentally cashed out my trump bet this morning for a uuuuuge profit of just under £2. Threw another £1 on him for the good of humankind.

Is the libertarian party in the States not a bunch of nut job 'preppers'
I would have thought they'd be voting from Trump if anyone?
Even John Bolton has been on Sky News saying Trumps statement was the most outrageous thing ever said by a President.
Impeachable? (LOL)
