Project: Talbot Frameworks 1x & Cinelli Mash Parallax

First day looking at/cycling the Talbot.

Changed the saddle & stem for something a little more me. Removed the graphics from the wheels & was lent some brown wall panaracers from a mate.

Might still go black walls I’m not sure. Rides ace though.

I have been riding those rims on my gravel cdf for a year, nice and light !

I have some trp hy/rds if you want to improve braking.

edit : 100% black walls !

Paintjob is stunning

most defo black walls I think. but for now these were free n hold air so will do !

Finished another little side project away from the thread. Winter beater gazelle. Trickiest part was spraying the rear track to black but think it went quite well.

Cannondale & Talbot are currently both idle. Considering getting the DA hubs on the dale rebuilt into some deeper carbon rims & the Talbot is basically perfect for me as is.

so, not positive note, the cannondale is gone.

a more positive note, the Talbot is riding so good.

have some Easton flared gravel bars turning up and some new lizard skins (apologies for now shot these ones are) and then I think it may be done for the meantime

Right, so after being "happy" with the build I have decided to go for a 1x system instead of single speed as Im planning some touring trips next year.

Stripped the bike down and installed some Force Shifters.

absolute black also contacted me to say I had to wait 4-6 weeks for my chainring so had to unfortunately cancel that. but was then put onto a garbaruk one that also looks pretty lovely.

all the rest of the parts will arrive next week I imagine...
