I'm looking at these wheels again, tell me that this doesn't look good:

Look too old compared to the car to my untrained Porsche eyes. You're welcome, anytime.

They look awesome - I strongly suspect they're the right wheels for any Porsche.

+1, sorry.

Or you could buy them, put them on your car, realise they don't look right, start searching for a 2.7 RS Carrera to put them on. Win.

too try-hard imho

They don't look good to me. Small Fuchs alloys with high profile tyres, boss. Big Fuchs alloys with lo-pro tyres, pastiche.

Disagree.
They are decent on that build.
Not sure about a cabriolet.

looks awesome. cycled past this for sale at bramley cars the other day
https://www.bramley.com/carsales/details/Porsche/911-50th-Anniversary-/13773.htmi really like the look of the classic 5 spoke style on modern porsches

@Fox Upgrading speakers is fairly easy. Best to upgrade to decent speaker wire as well
I would recommend Alpine stuff as really good.My stereo is only 50 watts per channel but the speakers can handle 200 watts plus a 300 watt amp running a 400watt Subwoofer in the boot, spare wheel turned upside down and fits in that space, the bumpers start rattling before the speakers do :)
Check car audio security, they sell dynamat sound deadening as well, check their vehicle specific list for direct replacements with no need for adjustments.http://caraudiosecurity.com/speakers-subs-1/manufacturer-alpine

Cmon now, we know where they belong and it's not on this.
I can appreciate someone going against the grain of course but whilst this doesn't look awful, there are so many wheels that look better in this instance. Obv LMs are in that shout.

Went on holiday for 2 weeks, just catching up.
There is no problem with your RAV4 fuel tank.

In shocking "cars are expensive" news... Just got told that my 60,000klm service for the A4 is $2k. Was expecting more like 1200... Oh well at least it extends my warranty another year.

Toyota claim 55 litres not gallons a 200 litre tank would be good though.
It’s in on the 22nd for its first service 4000 miles late as it also appears to have a faulty service indicator -

up there on the 'best wheels ever' table
-
• #58720
Yes!
Was looking last night for an example of these on a 911. -

+1 for it not looking good.

Turbo wheels are the best option imo

No thank you. How about something from HRE Vintage Series or the Rotiform Porsche inspired wheels instead?
STR
KLU
FUC (give them some Porsche centre caps and they're the perfect modern Fuchs. They can probably even increase the depth of the barrels to make the faces a bit smaller so they look more to scale...)
CUP
CUF
They're all blindingly expensive and available with an abundance of options to custom the fit and finish...
Meanwhile elsewhere I've been drilling speed holes in my bonnet...
