Space rockets are also in the sky just further away.
space rockets have gone past the sky they are not in it
-
• #104179
And air-to-ground missiles are rockets that have a generally downwards trajectory.

Au contraire, I refer you to a certain Patrick Moore and his programme "The Sky at Night".

Fair, fair.

Vaidas had Lake!

• #104183
At some stage the Sidcup Cycle Centre had a selection of Lake shoes to try on. But they've recently relocated to a smaller shop across the road from the old place so probably holding a lot less stock.
-
• #104184
@Klar will know the selection in Panagua

• #104185
What other rockets are there other than those which go into the sky?
-
• #104186
My name, and those of two of my bezzie mates sons are on the tail fin of that.

Denver has been posting lake shoes on insta. Definitely worth giving them a call to see what they’ve got before you go.

Headset bearings - i'm buying new sealed cartridge bearings. One that i need is an MR127, picture of the one i've taken out i can just make out an 'H6' at the end, if I buy one with a G8 at the end, will it fit differently? I know it's something to do with tolerances, but not much more than that.
-
• #104189
I know it's something to do with tolerances
I doubt it, I expect it's just coincidence that the manufacturer codes for materials look like hole tolerance grades.
-
• #104190
ok, thanks. also i've realised that some that state H8 are also referring to the height of the bearing, which confuses things even further
-
• #104191
some that state H8 are also referring to the height of the bearing
Well, that is the height of an MR127

why does a "skin" form on the top of hot milk?
it catches me out every time I go to sip my chai latte -

why does a "skin" form on the top of hot milk?
Why are you using AQA when there's a whole wikipedia page to answer your question?

Your milk is becoming sentient, it will eventually take over if you don't swig it back.

• #104195
That's what I employee you for.
Cheers! -

On here https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/149470/ or generally.
The normal advice is buy a refurbished office laptop from ebay, normally something like a Lenovo X220. You get plenty for your money but the battery life doesn't tend to be up with more modern laptops.
Looking at the use then you may also want to look at Chromebooks. The only spanner in the works there would be the photo storage, you'd need to store them in the cloud or on an sd card that's plugged in. These are a lot more usable than a cheapo windows laptop I'd say.

Alright, Dammit.

someone on here posted an article I think from CX magazine looking at deep drop brakes (47-57) and the max tyre sizes you could squeeze in which took the shape of the brake into account.
Does anybody know what the URL is?
Edit: found it in my history

I'm bored of having to hunt around for screws whenever I'm going to do some DIY so I plan on stocking up on a variety of sizes, heads, etc. Where should I be looking to buy some pick and mix screws online?
-
• #104200
A segmented boxes of screws are available from Screwfix, Wicks etc. https://www.wickes.co.uk/Products/Nails,-Screws+Adhesives/Screws/Screw-Assortment/c/1022006
I was referring to the annoying term used of prices sky-rocketing not herbs and veg. Space rockets are also in the sky just farther away.
