No grav in Lancashire either.
Finally managed to try Salter Fell. Only great things to say about this Arkose - it's been abused this last year. Only thing it needs is a fork with mid mounts and it'd be perfect.

Looks like the have NoGravel down under either.. We should all move to the US then.
Also, it's pronounced chin-turato (which means belted)

I'm interested in this tyre for winter. 650 x 45 sounds like it should be achievable with a bit of mud clearance in my aged CDF frame.

The key to not finding gravel in the UK is to follow the breadcrumbs/horse shit.

You mean bridelways?

Not necessarily. It was a tongue in cheek comment following this afternoons extended ride home.

James rides the shit out of stuff, I can vouch for that!

Looks interesting, that new technology. Apparently they've got Tom Boonen as ambassador/investor. He's a massive gearhead, so I reckon his opinion on it must mean there's some remit in it?

Someone in the comments pointed out his Dad works for Ridley in some capacity, but still, I guess he wouldn't put his name to something crappy.

Interesting tech, shame it shifts the industri even more into the proprietary parts:
Incidentally, there’s no conventional freehub, the Classified hub accepts proprietary cassettes that are machined from solid steel.

The comedy leg bone is on a farm near South Wraxall .
Not far from a load of gravel Lanes round Cumberwell golf course
Longleat is more roady

Oh boy, now with Etap I have batteries in my rear derailleur, each shifter, the rear thru axle and the handlebar front shifter. Also maybe a power meter.

Your phone, the gps unit, power meter, cadence sensor, HR monitor, lights...
All while telling off people riding ebikes

Thanks, venture out that way occasionally. Now with fatter tyres may do some exploring

Definitely not doing any gravel riding this weekend even if it was described as an "expert gravel ride" by Komoot

Have we had Hampshire? None to be found here.

Too far gone to document as a current project, although still a work-in-progress, I took my 'parts bin + LFGSS classifieds special' out for its inaugural outing y'day.

They were a front runner but I couldn't live with that wavey tan line
