Fully sick.

Definitely an ST. Maybe you have it in "racing sport" mode or something....
-
• #56279
but have emptied very nearly half a tank in 120 miles!
For context, I get this mileage with a 5.4 litre V8.

M1, nice. I've never driven one but I suspect that all this time it'd be a case of 'never meet your heroes'.

This is truth of small capacity, high pressure turbo engines. Can't beat physics and thermodynamics. Make power = use energy.
-
• #56282
Not all engines convert energy into motive power with the same efficiency though. If they did, F1 engine development costs would be a lot lower. And certain big block American V8s wouldn't produce under 250bhp and yet still struggle to get into double figures for mpg.

Sport grille for the Suby is a piece of trash, there's no way to attach it to the car!??! No holes on it so I'd have to modify and drill the fuck out of it to make it work... Back it goes!

• #56284
One of the few cars that looks as good in cab version IMO

• #56285
Was watching the penultimate The Last Dance last night and Air Jordan turned up to a game in a glossy red 993 Turbo S, sweet

Bolt on mods never just bolt on

• #56287
True dat. But we're hardly comparing the same thing. A big old American V8 is not the same as dammits v8 just the same way a 1.5 litre triple isn't an F1 engine... Although probably has a lot in common. My point really was that a little turbo engine propelling a car at say, 100mph or being driven hard is going to end up burning fuel a lot faster than the official figures will have the public believe.

• #56288
Yep, still would be my choice though

When I said BASF M1, I shouldn’t have been so specific and just covered all M1s.
Did they even go in to full production though?
Scrub that, I remember they did

Was watching the penultimate The Last Dance last night
I haven't watched past the first episode, but the amount of linen they used for their suits back then is impressive. If the big man trapped his suit in the door of his 933 he'd probably only notice after walking at least 2 metres away.

Currently having an argument with my brothers over which car will be quicker.
AM Valkyrie or T50.

Basically Murray and Newey need to have a mud wrestle.
-
• #56292
Don't forget the Speedtail too! Altho Ron is long gone.
-
• #56293
I do like the T.50 and hope that won't allow too many colour options, the rear three quarter is where it works the least and looks like a Murcialargo, and the fan is completely foolish.
Don't really love swoopy modern hypercars but the Valkyrie looks the absolute tits, love it, wild and actually moves supercars along in a way that hasn't happened much since the Diablo.
-
• #56294
Yeah my first lottery purchase would still be a red coupe with black interior, classic
-
• #56295
I think I have swung the other way.
Murray will need a disclaimer for the diffuser fan because someone will over commit and wrap it around a tree.
However, the Valkyrie is too much like a drone imo. It will break in 5 mins.
I like Murray's mind on this one.

• #56296
I guess at the end of the day I would prefer a GT to a track car.
F40 might disagree.

• #56297
Murry's, to hear him talking on Harry's Garage, i'm sold. Will have to be quick though, 60% already sold.
His design ethic:- NA, no belts, linkage on show, no sharp edges, no strobing lights, round exhausts, cubby holes and no silly big wheels. Everything there for a purpose. -

Then again I'm a family man with 2 kids, so the Gemera might be the one. :oP

100% agree. So refreshing to hear his point of view. It's a pity the car industry as a whole doesn't follow the same principles.

Have no idea what you are talking about. More info.
YEah.
Bimmers look shit in reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.........
