Pics of the Shark Diver?
I'm probably going to buy a 42mm.
Debating what dial to get
(black no date or green sunburst, I have a Lordmatic Seiko with a green reflective face already, but it is my favourite) -

The green looks good. Dont worry about it. If it does, keep it and buy another one!
It is super light! Amazing really.

so did you buy it?

FINALLY @Stonehedge's desire for the Henson Sharkdiver to take traction is working!
Finally people are getting into them
hey @Stonehedge? ;-)

What do you mean finally? Everybody had them 10 years ago! This is a second wave!

Still waiting on delivery, just ordered a couple of days ago. Hopefully from HK to Tokyo should be next-day though.
I went 40mm, black no-date, but I had the same debate as you whether to go green or not, but wanted a simple black diver. I may just buy more. At 300 usd a pop they are a steal!

A Helson for $300?
-
• #45534
yeah, 15% off ATM, SharkDivers are $350, down to under $300 with the code (for the brass)
steel and bronze are more expensive. -
• #45535
$349 (less discount). They're a bargain at that price I'd say
https://www.helsonwatches.com/shop.php#!/Shark-Diver-42-brass/c/22810078/offset=0&sort=normal
(you may get hit with some import fees when it comes into the UK, I think I had to pay another £20 or so).

I know, I was expecting them to be more expensive but for that price, they are a bargain. I would love the steel to be honest but just having bought a house I couldn't justify the cost. Brass will have to do to scratch the itch for now.

Love mine 42mm bronze my first “proper” watch. Seriously tempted to get a steel 40mm though. Ideally I’d like the ti version but they only do that in a 38 and even then they’re all sold out

If you're going for a ti Helson surely it's go big or go home
-
• #45540
That is lovely.
Great size too...
I love the patina and I love the signs of wear.

Always feel like this look very much at home in Rapture (Bioshock).
-
• #45542
What model is that? don't see it in their site.
-
• #45544
The Gauge Steel is where its at. Bloody lovely. Massive but not as masive as you'd think due to the short lugs
-
• #45545
Was it you I sent a spring bar to?
-
• #45546
The photo of the Turning Bezel version being used as an example in their Gauge watches threw me off.
-
• #45547
fair.
its only that i've looked at all their watches recently and remembered some looked different when you delve into the models -
• #45548
Yes, and thanks again.
-
• #45549
Um.. no thanks. I’m going smaller
And more wearable rather than bigger! -
• #45550
Cheers. Yeah I’m not exactly gentle with my watches.
Great, will have a look at both and see what I fancy, thanks!
