  • I'd love one of these but it would be too massive on my dainty wrists.

  • They do a 40mm and a 38mm these days so something for everyone

  • 15% off until 28th at the moment too.

  • Not at the same price point though, as far as I can see?

Edit - no 38mm in brass it seems...

  • 40 really too small?

  • Kind of hard to know isn't it? I reckon so though. This is 35...

  • Just glad to see the watch still cherished!

  • @Regal Watch sold successfully. Buyer very happy. Just waiting for C24 to take their 6.5% now and then we're all good. Actually a very pleasant selling experience. Would've preferred to just sell it on Reddit with zero fees but it's a niche watch....

  • Good to hear. 👍

  • I actually have a 40 helson that I need to sell on. I bought it, and decided it was too small so replaced it with the 42.

Downside, I'm in California, upside, I'll be in Europe in Aug... I'm just lazy at trying to set up a sale here lol

  • Which model is it?

  • How would I go about find a place to service/repair a smiths auto watch? Preferably a post service.

  • Speaking of Helson, I'm rather saddened they're apparently not making the Sharkmaster 300 (hommage to the Omega Seamaster 300) any more. That top hat sapphire 👌

  • (I take that back. I'm blind... mumbled under my breath)

  • Sunshine 316

  • Was thinking of selling my Steinhart ocean 39 explorer plexi - wow they go for decent money on eBay I might as well keep it

  • Picture wouldn’t hurt ;-)

  • Anybody got some leftover parts from seiko modding they’d sell?
I’m bored so almost anything considered, original or mod parts.
    Bezel insert, dial, hands.
    For skx.

  • Re: this Dawn Grey Samurai I popped on eBay – it just sold for £433, quite a bit lower than what I was expecting. Worth cancelling and greedily hoping to sell later, or take a small profit with a favourable £1 fee, you'd say?

  • :)

  • Would you like it if someone did that to you? :-) You take the risk of eBay auctions, you take the risk of not getting what you want. You're selling at a time when people are getting rid of unnecessary possessions. It's a buyers market in terms of watches. On the contrary, it's a sellers market regarding bicycles because there's a shortage globally. There's no watch shortage.

  • I've been at the receiving end of the "the item is actually out of stock/sold to someone else, sorry," hence why I think it's possible to cancel the sale. Uncool move nonetheless, as you point out.

As to your point, and as I kind of realise tonight, I can actually hold on to this for a while until better times should I choose profit over a sale. Which I'm not sure how I feel. I guess I was also curious to know whether you'd also think this has actually quite a bit more value than that it sold for (in terms of measuring what's worth being a bit of a bellend to someone else on ebay). If that makes sense?
