Probably should. My fan has always been crap and doesn't fit under the TV properly.

Don't these things shift less air per minute than a big old floor fan? What's the advantage, other than it being smaller and easier to store?
-
• #3160
being smaller and easier to store
for me it was this, I was impressed how less noisy it is for the air it blows .. less noise than kitchen extractor at full blast

• #3162
Buy another one because its cheaper

I've got one arriving today, potentially to replace a big ol' 20 inch floor fan.
The floor fan pushes much more air, but less directed and is way too load, so hoping that the targeted air mover will work. Will be accompanied by 2 Honeywell turbo fans.

Agree, the big floor ones have quite a wide spread. Might try and fashion some kind of snoot to direct the air a bit more

What's the automatic boost you get to your FTP?
-

I use an 18inch floor fan and have never been disappointed with its power. It is loud yes but I use in ear earphones so not a problem. Tempted by one of these airmoves due to the smaller foot print though now that ive been kicked out to the garage.
@Amey ,next time I'm there will you please blow yours over my face so I can see if I like it.
Thanks

Anyone used the Elite Arion Mag Rollers? Someone's selling some locally, look interesting. Never tried a turbo before, but I didn't mind using 'dumb' rollers when I had them. This looks to be the best of both world, but I imagine the resistance they can provide is limited?

Depends on what training plan you are following.
I'm doing all my Trainer Road sessions on rollers at the moment and, with a 11-23 cassette and a 50 tooth front chainring, and I've not run out of gears yet and that includes some vo2 max sessions.

Confirmed, faster airflow, might put behind me for psychological tailwind wattage boost.

Damn, you must run hot

I saturate a sweat headband in 30 minutes, even with multiple fans.

Very approximately, how much more effective is the blower than a Honeywell fan (which I have already). 2 x ? 5 x?
-
• #3175
I'd say 4 times more air. It's impressive.
Is it good? Mine is arriving today
