I don’t feel like my croix de fer (even set up to the same stack/reach as my road bike) feels like “aggressive road geometry”. It feels like a heavy slow tank. Don’t get me wrong, I love mine and its probably my most ridden bike and I use it for commuting, winter training and some touring but it doesn’t feel a jot as lively as either my road bike or even my cx bike.
