Avengement on Netflix, this review on RT sums up why I loved it.
If you like watching an endless string of prison brawls and pub fights connected by the thinnest of narrative threads, then you'll be in heaven

Just watched The Martian for the first time. And I now understand why I swerved it for so long. Fucking abysmal

Finally watched the rise of skywalker. Predictably it’s a mountain of pissy shite. Should have spent two hours poking myself in the eyes instead, would’ve been time better spent.

Took me a week to finish it in small doses. Can't really believe they thought "that'll do".

So lame. The music is intrusive and inappropriate. Sean Bean didn't die.

Fundamentally within first five mins all you learn of Matt Damons character is he is a wise cracking jock. And that's it for the remainder of the film. Didn't care in the slightest about his plight and was rooting for oxygen depletion to finish him off. Plus 'science the shit out of it'...
Worse than Interstellar

The book is shite as well. I was just hoping for a really miserable, depressing account of some lad dying alone on Mars. Instead it's just some bellend making shit jokes and being a whiney little nob.

For much better desperate situation whilst alone in space genre movies look no further than Duncan Jones's Moon.

The first fifteen minutes are such an incoherent mess, it was like watching a teenager’s fan edit on YouTube. And it’s only downhill from there.
I can only imagine that a huge amount of coke went into the approval of the final cut.

Yeah Moon is great. Shame Kevin Spacey (or at least his voice) is in it. Clint Mansell's soundtrack is great as well.

I think this is the place for this.
I have some old film scripts printed from the internet, hole punched and kept in ring binders from about 2000.
I’m looking to make space so they are up for grabs. Ideally I’d like someone to take them all via collection (I’m based in stockwell) but can post, if you want to pay the costs.
Be aware I am offering this to people outside of the forum, so first come first served.List is below

Also, if you're interested, Elijah Wood and a guy called Daniel Noah have an excellent podcast called Visitations, in which they interview film makers. There's an episode with Richard Stanley which is great, he's quite a character.
