Just watched The Lighthouse. Visceral, great acting, lovely to look at (in a way).

I saw it at the cinema and thought it was great. I can see an argument that it's all atmosphere and aesthetic over anything else though.

That's been on my watchlist for ages, will get round to it eventually. Despite having almost nothing to do at the minute I'm struggling to motivate myself to watch many films really!

Ah cheers. Seems nuts that a film production co wouldn't make their films available to rent. But I'm sure it's more complicated than that.

The below is costlier as it's a one-off rather than streaming but I've been to some of their events and they're very fun/knowledgeable and I'm happy to support an independent given the circumstances. Had a yearning to watch The Warrior this weekend and thought a Film4 service might have it. Will keep for another day.

Then went a bit left field with Black Cat White Cat. It’s completely bonkers, unique and enjoyable from start to finish.

It's bonkers. Looks great too! Some of the acting is a bit ropey and the beginning drags a bit but stick with it!

Watched about half so far and enjoying it.
