I have an EBullitt with e6100 drive. It's unstoppable and I put two kiddos (3 year and 1 year old) in it. I can fit one large shopping bag in it with the kiddos fairly easily. Knees bent.
I've very often loaded it up with 200 lbs of cargo. In a few isolated hair-raising occasions I even had 300 lbs of cargo. I wouldn't recommend that. Not including my own weight. So over 450 lbs. Not recommended, but worked.
I got a premade box from Splendid Cycles in the States. It converts from a kid / grocery carrier to a flat bed in seconds. Holde Box. I love it.

Does anyone have a geometry chart for a old style omnium mini?
One in ebay and the guy is saying it's a 21inch frame... Trying to convince myself it's not too small for someone that typically rides a 56cm track bike

We have a cargo bike that can take 4 kids. It’s probably the worst bike I’ve ridden. Weak frame so you spend half your energy bending it instead of going forwards. Components are shit throughout.
Will check the Christiania one!

why pay QBP for gaspipe when you can get premium german engineering with riese and muller?

Surly certainly looks overpriced but I can't see anything equivalent in r+m's offerings.
Main appeal to steel for this purpose is repairability, when you're spending that much on a bike I'd want it to last.

Non electric one I rode was insane. Would love an electric one

Just finished to upgrade my Pashley Pronto.
Moved from 3 speed Sturmey Archer drum brake to 8 speed Shimano Nexus roller brake.
Built a wheel around a good used hub that I bought from Wiggle about 5 yeaes ago!
Added a carbon seatpost, Fizik Volta saddle, swan neck stem, carbon bars, CNC brake levers, Nexus chainset, new headset with sealed bearings.
TT bars for when I have done my deliveries and want to get home quick!

Had a superb day with my daughter.
Kids on cargo bikes is hands down the most enjoyable thing ever.

That's a Maxxis Grifter

Yeah Maxxis grifter sounds right. It was the largest I could find. Been very happy with it so far.

What are the options for a wider box on a bullitt? Are there any plans for a DIY version out there?

I have the canopy, my child is only 7 months old so still in car seat in the canopy but the seat with belts option will take two kids I reckon.

I'm sure that this has all been covered but....this guy.

FWIW I can just squeeze my 7-year-old twins on the seat of my Kr8 bakfiets; they're a bit on the small side mind, and I think the bike's fractionally wider than a Bullitt.

If I get a cargo bike do I also have to get an Instagram account?

I've checked and I do. Proof on purchase apparently.
