It's Peanut BUTTER.
Peanut Butter & Butter = Peanut Better

Yeah, like everyone with access to PB and oats.
You know what's better though? A dollop of Almond + Coconut butter. The since-closed Abokado near one of my offices put me onto it.

Interesting. But how is it made and what's in it?

If I'm served it I won't complain. But who has time for two spreading runs?

Great in porridge, with a bit of honey/mashed banana/fruit/toasted hazelnuts and a ridiculously strong coffee.
There’s a version with cinnamon in too.
Basically I start the day with a massive slap round the face of sugar and caffeine.

I buy this now. £5 for 1/2kg, haven't seen it cheaper than that.

When I was kid I once made myself a sandwich. Thinking of the things I liked most, peanut butter and pickled onions, I made myself a peanut butter and sliced pickled onion sandwich. It would have been Sun Pat back then, probably all you could get at the time. With Haywood’s pickled onions.
I’ve not had one since, but I dimly recall enjoying it at the time. I was probably about 12, mind. -

As a fan of both, I actually find the Marmite PB a bit too Marmitey. It’s also very oily. I think I might mix my own next time, with Whole Earth.
Naturally my Aussie wife won’t even look at it, cos it’s not Vegemite.

Damn right. I'd have to send the authorities around if we suspected any different.

This gets too marks here. Yes it has palm oil in but it's all Organic and the taste/texture is just right. Some of the more niche market ones just aren't quite right.

Anyone got a readily available replacement for the whey powder?

Maca powder 😁
MARVEL milk powder?
If it came in 1kg tubs for similar price to Pip's we'd probably get it more. Meridian also decent option if the others can't be found.
