I have been collating a list of 'practical' SS frames and this thread seems like a good place to share it. By 'practical' I mean disc brakes (sorry), clearance for decent size tyres and mudguards, and maybe even a rack—so basically a modern singlespeed tourer/gravel bike. Inspired by abr's list of SS disc framesets with decent clearances.
Loosely categorised below. (Not including bikes that aren't available frame(set)-only or SS off the peg, as I wouldn't expect someone to buy a new complete geared bike and then remove all the components.)
Road, touring, cyclocross
All-City Nature Boy (eccentric BB)
All-City Super Professional Singlespeed
Bombtrack Arise 2
Bombtrack Outlaw
Brother Big Bro
Genesis Day One 10
Kona Private Jake
Niner RLT 9 (eccentric BB)
Norco Threshold Aluminium (2019; eccentric BB)
Octane One Kode
Omnium CXC
Salsa Marrakesh
Salsa Stormchaser
Soma Wolverine
State Thunderbird
Surly Ogre
Surly Straggler
Transition Rapture
Trek Crockett Disc 2019 (but 2020 model has vertical dropout)
I suppose the harder thing to find is an appropriate disc fixed rear wheel?
Been through this rigmarole recently. Some hub options available but you'll end up getting a Surly Ultra New, so just do that and save yourself the bother.
