Not sure how to reply to this without fueling the debate but I feel pretty confident I could land on soft mud at walking pace (at best) without causing myself an injury that requires any sort of NHS assistance.
Also not sure of how to reply to this without coming across like a bit of a dick

Thanks but no thanks would’ve bee sufficient.
Have fun with the sic wheelies.
Can’t tell from your photo, are you riding a Sledgehammer? -

Noted. Guess me "not coming across like a bit of a dick" didnt work then
On One 45650B (I think it's called), MTB's are all very new to me -

Got a Vitus Sentier 27.5+ bike. Can I put non-plus 29 wheels in it for bikepacking duties? Obviously with a different fork.
-
• #15714
What's your fork?
Many are 27.5+/29 compatible. You may not have to change it -
• #15715
Recon RL. I'm thinking I can, with a non-boost 29'er wheel.
I have this: http://vitusbikes.com/products/vitus-sentier-27-hardtail-mountain-bike/
Vitus also make this: http://vitusbikes.com/products/vitus-sentier-29-hardtail-mountain-bike/
Pretty sure the frames are nearly identical, slightly steeper head angle on the 29 version.
Want more rolly-rolly.

But also not sure if it will even make a difference. Anyone ridden 27.5+ and 29 to compare? 27.5+ feels quite sluggish, but think it might just be big tyres in well (Rekon/Minion).

14mm shorter chainstays though

Essentially just been reading this chaps blog, now sitting at home thinking I want to turn my Sentier singlespeed, order a full frame bag from AlpKit and do the Divide.
It will pass.
Worth a read though! Really good writeup: http://www.tydomin.com/blog/singlespeeding-the-tour-divide-2017-part-1

I've got a fecking great tip for anyone having trouble fitting tyres with inserts.
Wet the inserts before installing. Goes from being an hour long thumb destroying task to a very satisfying 5 minutes job without a tyre lever in sight.

Such a good tip you had to write it twice.

and not bother to proof read it, which I've done now!
No wanting to get (re)start the much meh of a helmet debate but in these times minimise risk of ending up needing the nhs please.
I’ve moth balled my enduro to lessen the chance of crashing and need a trip to A&E, gentle XC for the time being 🤘
