That was true. My dream bike is now actually available and waiting to be collected, however I'm too scared to go into an MMA to pick it up :'(

Almost finished with this, still needs proper wheelset and some fat tyres. Threw together a 'rolling chassis' this weekend, bar angle and saddle position will be sorted out and need to figure out some form of hose management for the front brake, any suggestions other than zip-ties?

Trim the hose? It looks like you have about 6 inches of extra hose going on there

48-18 (71”) but it will be 49-18 (72”). I do have a 17t (74”) sprocket but that will be too high.

There isn't too much extra hose flapping around once its secured to the fork leg, I'd like to try and make it work before trimming as I don't have any equipment to do this. Would winding it around the fork be a bad idea?

Anyway, bartape’s on now so it’s too late haha. Maybe when it needs changing in 6 months or so

I think I'm going for more or less the same thing you did with your disc brake equipped build. I like the frame a lot, just a shame about the annoying press fit bottom bracket

Second vote for stick on guides, there's one in use in the last picture of this post, you can just about see it.

Yeah I've ordered some now, can get it ready for a test ride once they arrive

Pre lock down service, put some red cables on and it feels like I could ride to Mongolia and back
