  • Would if I could, but honestly last months I've probably only driven a thousand miles, sticking with whats outside at minute. Those are useful cars, same as saabs get a lot of car for the money

  • I'd be interested to hear what sensors require a grille that size (can't find any info other than an 'intelligence panel'), it's about the size of a pair of F1 car's sidepods.

  • More Beaver than Beamer.

  • BMW have just started looking gash with their latest offerings.

The original Z4, in my opinion was a lovely looking car (prefer the coupe but the soft top is still a looker).
The latest Z4 is damn hideous

  • It’s that going into production?

    It’s fucking foul!

  • Anyone still watching Binky?

    Enjoyed the last couple.

  • @furious_tiles thought you might like it. Concept car at the moment but to be fair the most offensive part, the grill(e) is already out there.

@hugo7 yes and totally agree with you.

  • Feels like it's almost there, but more than that progress is being made.

I also liked the double twist re the turbo in the latest one.

  • Looks like Daniella Westbrook's nostril after a night on the bugle.

  • Mole rat

  • Bimmer grille looks like a robot's arse print.

  • New Gemera.

  • Agree entirely about the old Z4 being somewhat more attractive than the concept car, but I would, wouldn't I?

Absolutely love Binky, despite being mechanically illiterate.

The new Gemera is about as relevant to normal motoring as the Saturn 5 is to fixed gear cycling.

  • Maybe motor cooling, or battery cooling?

  • Before or after the op?

  • Wish that car was in Aus, I'd buy it from you for sure. I'd offer fiddy dorrah tho.

  • Yeah, it’s an odd one though. The shtick has worn pretty thin, the content is delivered so painfully slowly, and there’s only so many custom brackets you can watch being made. Yet here I am, still watching! Did enjoy the turbo leg pull. And do enjoy the serious level of engine geekery.

  • Maybe someone has some advice with an issue i'm having:

I bought and paid for some parts for my rally car from a company in Germany. I've bought stuff off them before, it's always been a bit slow because it's made to order but they have always delivered.

Something i ordered was delayed, they had been in reasonable contact up until just before christmas but recently their website has gone down and any emails i send them bounce back and the main proprietor has removed me from facebook, where i'd tried messaging him.

I'm starting to get a bit worried that i'm about to loose the best part of 900gbp

  • Did you buy it with a credit card? About the only was you’ll get your money back by sounds of it...

  • The shtick

That's never really been my thing. It reminds me of the DT and graphics kids when I was at school. Or motorcycle instructors. I assume it's also what the engineers would have been like at uni.

But I do love the ATD and like reading and watching things that go over my head, and it delivers that.

Plus there's a nostalgia as I watched a lot of it (and Doug D) at a point where mini-H didn't sleep without being held so would have to kill 2-3 hour blocks from 9pm onwards.

  • What's the name of the company?

  • It’s a small company in Germany, I paid via TransferWise which might give me some protection, I’d have to look into whether that was via my credit card or not.

I did manage to send an email to him last night without it bouncing back though so maybe there’s hope yet
