  • How much was that btw?

  • I honestly cannot remember - it was about 10 years ago, and someone else was paying for it (it's still in use today) I think I've probably got the info somewhere on the pooter at home. I'll have a look later.

  • Anyone know anything about Italian companies? Mainly where to get their company details from - co.no. etc. for free.

is a "codice fiscal" a tax code, and do they use it like some sort of company number?

Wiki says it's like a SSN or NI. Which confuses me as why would a company list it on their website with other co details?

    Cheers.

  • any recommendations for a laser printer for ~£200. Better to go 2nd hand?

  • colour or bw?

I've got a Samsung m2020 (I think m2026 is the current version) which is an a4 bw laser and was something like £80 when I bought it a couple of years ago. Been pretty good for rattling off documents.

  • £200 is a lot for a mono laser these days. I recently bought a HP M130nw new for £120 and that's a small business machine with ethernet, scanner etc.

  • Yes, looking at prices now....£200 is rather a lot (Lasers used to be soooo expensive).
B&W is fine.....need for printing journal articles and the like.

  • We have Samsung CLP-320 bought a few years ago for £120. Wireless, so hidden away in a cupboard. Reliable and the consumables are not mad costly.

  • Thanks for reply
Just day stuff .. 2kg max I guess
I used to use it on city breaks until it broke me with its consistent annoying failures .
    Shame it’s nice .
Shall I just get it riveted ?

  • I would replace the leather tab on the strap with a new piece and sew it onto the bag with a proper x reinforcement - that's really disappointing for such an expensive item.

  • Is @31trum, JPW Leatherwork (instagram) still about?
    Perhaps he could help.

  • Can I use (and reuse) this adapter my gxp cx1 cranks and a cheapo shimano bb? The cost of new gxp bbs is more than an ultegra bb and adapter

  • Possible they're using the wrong word to describe their Partita IVA (VAT Number), which is 11 digits long.

  • Swisstop Flash Pro good to replace stock pads on SRAM Force caliper brakes?
Can't find the "SRAM by Swissstop" ones - I thought this would be straightforward...

  • What is php memory?

Had an internal server 500 error on a wordpress site I'm building.

Quick google suggested adding memory=64MB to php.ini which I did and which solved it but I'd like to know what exactly it is and why 64mb seems adequate. Am I likely to need to increase that in the future? Is there something I've done with my site which isn't efficient and should be remedied before I start sharing the link in case the user experience suffers?

    Plugins used:

    contact form 7
    smash balloon insta/twitter feed
slider revolution (which I suspect may be the issue as that was what I was working on before it toppled)

  • Amount of memory a php process can use. IIRC it kicks off a process for each user so if you have a php process that uses a large amount of memory it won't take too many users being wowed by your video prowess before you hit the limits of the service that's hosting the site and things grind to a halt.

    Yeah you should fix it.

  • Gotcha. Thanks - will investigate further.

  • Would it make any sense to get a M.2 SSD with an external USB case instead of, say the Samsung T5?
I'm moving to Korea for a few months and my external 3.5" HDD with its external power supply doesn't seem like a sensible option for traveling and everything in between

  • Anybody in Torquay that can help with getting an items posted to me? Picked up/packed/send for some beers monies?

    Thanks

  • What’s the name of the small park with a skateboard bowl in it, just off Q1 in Deptford/Rotherhithe?

  • £193.16 (VAT Incl.) for all of the metalwork from Kee - tubes cut to length specified by me - All I had to do was assemble it.
I note that Sigma Sport are currently doing the bike parking rails at £38.00 a pop - so you are looking at a further £152.00 on top of the £193.16

  • Folkestone gardens?
