  • I’d say it was necessarily offensive.

  • Ha, what was the comment?

  • That's obviously where Dammit goes to repost all of the abuse we give him here and directs it at owners of more expensive Porsches who have a much lower tolerance for abuse than some around these parts...

  • I know the market is suffering at the moment but do we think it will recover again after Brexit and in the spring of next year?

I'm gonna guess dammit expressed his veiw on Brexit.

  • Why do I still want a G-wagon?

Because they look rude AF and ever other dickhead in Surrey has a RR, so they stand out.

I haven't been in one, but aren't they still basically the same off-roader as the 1970s original with a bit of lipstick?

  • I said that the previous poster was ignorant, he clearly didn’t like that.

  • It's really interesting to read the difference all the various specs make to price.

  • What does "OPC" mean in Porsche?

  • Official Porsche Centre

  • Cheers.

So that's an official dealership vs buying new from people who've got on a list I guess?

  • Yeah that's it. Like Porsche centre Guildford vs buying from Joe Macari or Roman's or something.

  • I haven't been in one, but aren't they still basically the same off-roader as the 1970s original with a bit of lipstick?

I imagine so, I've never driven one either. I'd like one that is extremely simple externally, but has the leather+toys interior, and a big V8.

  • Sadly it seems more common to do things the other way around - and AMGerise a previously blameless off-roader.

  • Edit: already answered, my joke wasn't funny, and i actually love porsche

  • Instead of a g-wagon go for something really cool and inoffensive – the new Suzuki Jimny. If you absolutely have to spend money modding then a turbo and a mild lift kit would be great

  • I really, really love these...

  • A lot of irrational want

  • We have been looking for a Jimny for my other half when we move to NZ

She wanted a defender, same but diff really

  • pretty sure you'll one day be towing your jimny out of the mud with that defender you wish you bought...

  • Yeh i like jimnys but they are seriously small. I spotted one in a carpark yesterday. If you use the back seat, you have no boot, and vice versa. They would be nowhere near powerful enough to tow anything either. Bit too niche of a car.

  • 2JZ Jimny?

  • I don't get it. if someone posted one of these:

everyone would turn up their noses.

it's like a shit defender, with none of the good bits

  • those little suzuki vitaras were what all the posh ugly girls drove when i was at school. they got their dads to buy them one because they thought it made them look like were off clueless.

  • I’d like it to look like this:

But with the AMG interior (in black) and engine. But selectable 2wd/4wd.

  • Whilst impractical, the little Jimny is a very capable off roader. In fact it's lighter weight will see it keep going where other, heaver 4x4s get stuck. Well, according to many off roader reviews...
