  • I need to set up a work office 365 email on my laptop which runs ubuntu. I don't use an email app much, but when I do it's thunderbird.

My laptop only has limited memory, does anyone know if there's a way to limit the amount of emails downloaded, or anything else that could prevent a colossal email download to a limited laptop?

    Cheers.

  • Not sure I understand correctly but with Outlook (which should be the platform to run office 365 e-mail I guess) at work we can select in an option the amount of e-mails downloaded with the date for example no e-mails further than two weeks ago

  • The settings only seem to show once the account is set up, so I guess I'm just going to have to try.

The thing I don't want is to start deleting things from the server if I just download the last 5 days for eg.

  • can't you just use it through the web browser, so the emails are all stored online?

  • If you go on advanced there does it let you set an offline cache size?

Also, at least on the version of Outlook I have, if you adjust things like the number of days you want to synchronise it will remove the older ones. You don't need to delete them.

  • idk why I didn't think about just using the web browser.

    @aggi cheers

  • Anyone live in or near Sandbach/Stoke on Trent that could potentially collect and send a complete bike to me? I made an offer on a Cliff Shrubb full build and won it surprisingly.
Train tickets are about £45-60 from London. Would rather offer that money to someone on here to collect/post the bike down to me and they can keep whatever is left over from postage as a token of appreciation. Any help on this would be much appreciated forum

  • Can you fit a 1-1/8 - 1-1/2 tapered fork into a straight 1-1/8 headtube? If so what headset bits and bobs will I need?

I’m sure this has been asked before but couldn’t find the answer! Cheers for any help!

  • Yes, you just need the correct inverse shim

  • Anyone cycled in Poland, around Krakow... Very few road rides found online, mostly stating terrible road surfaces. Especially for mountain pass type climbs..... Perhaps i should take my flat bar disc tourer rather than Sunday best bike 😅

  • Have cycled in Warsaw and in the countryside nearby. Highly recommend you chat to a local, the roads there are a different world.

  • I might be shit at headsets but I’m not that shit!

  • Is there a "Little Bikes" thread on here?
You know not BMX and not kids bieks but little frames with little wheels, foldable or not..

  • Haha,

  • I'm teaching myself MS Access to build a database that uses data from xls which has a series of numbers that are percentages.

When I import it just converts to 0 or 1.

    Any ideas why?
