@freddo @Stonehedge I agree with borrowing if you know you have the money when these 3 sell. You can then be less rushed for liquidity and not be kicked on price.
However, if you know the seller and they won't just sell it to the first person who provides the cash, then maybe not.
Would be calamitous to sell 3 glorious watches that have taken you years to find at potentially less than market value, for the Heuer seller to have then sold it.
You’re right, except the heuer is a private sale so cash purchase only. Also I’m trying to buy the flat I’m in right now which mean my watch budget is strictly £0 net. On the other hand, what you say is also true for anyone interested in the pieces I have for sale, they’re all pretty hard to find in this condition :)
